Cabinet Office Alcohol Expenditure

Cabinet Office did not have the information requested.

Dear Cabinet Office,

In the wake of Sue Gray's report into the behaviour of the Prime Minister and Cabinet Office during lockdown, I would like to know how much taxpayers' money was spent on alcohol for these sixteen illegal parties, and whether or not this formed part of the official Cabinet Office budget. If so, is a formal apology going to be made for this blatant misuse of public funds?

Yours faithfully,
John Goldberg

Would be very interest to hear how your response might differ to this request (referring more specifically to 18 Dec 2020).

Had I known at the time of requesting there was a series of such parties, my request would have been similar to your own.

As it stands presently, I was informed that "We do not hold information in relation to your request [concerning 18 Dec 2020]". If that response turns out to be untrue, I will be disappointed (to say the least).
