Freedom of Information Requests

While we will make all efforts to respond to requests promptly, the
Coronavirus (Scotland) Act 2020, which came into force on 7 April, has
temporarily extended the maximum timescales for responding to requests for
information and internal reviews received under the Freedom of Information
(Scotland) Act 2002 to 60 working days. Further information about this

Environmental Information Requests and Subject Access Requests

The Environmental Information (Scotland) Regulations 2004 and data
protection legislation have not changed. Again, we will make all efforts
to respond to information requests as soon as possible, however please be
aware that in some cases we will not be able to respond within statutory

arrangements are affected by the Coronavirus outbreak. Unfortunately, I am
currently unable to tell you exactly when you will receive a response to
your request. However, I can confirm that it is actively being progressed

to the Commissioner.
