Buying a property
Dear Northern Ireland Housing Executive,
I live in a high-rise apartment at Ferndale House ,in the Dales ,Dunmurry, could you give me some information regarding valuation of these apartments.
I would like the valuation for the last three years of the apartments , before the points system makes the final calculation payable by the tenant, when purchasing their abode.
I would also need to know is this valuation independent and what criteria is used for the valuation , is it a standard ratio valuation, (example: the rateable value of the flats £50,000 at this time of asking) or some other financial system.
Yours faithfully,
John Leitch
Dear Mr Leitch,
Please confirm you have received this response as I note there was problem with the delivery.
Yours Sincerely,

Subject: RE: Freedom of Information request - Buying a property
Dear Mr Leitch,
Thank you for your e-mail dated 1/11/2018 and can confirm that your request has been processed as a request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
I would advise that there has been no applications to purchase at Ferndale House in several years and consequently the Housing Executive does not hold any documentation in relation to valuations.
However, I can confirm that the Housing Executive employs independent professional valuers in valuing its properties. The valuation is based on the market value of the property at the date a completed application to purchase is received by the Housing Executive.
