I am writing to request an internal review of Carmarthenshire Council's handling of my FOI request 'Business Management Group minutes'.
A response was due on or by the 14th May 2013 and to date, (6th June 2013) I have had no response. This is three weeks over the 20 day limit.

I write in response to your recent email seeking a brief explanation for the delay in the Council substantively responding to your request.
The Council receives a large number of such requests (on average around 80 per month). Some requests are quite simple to deal with whilst others (such as this one) can be difficult and complex.
In some cases it is necessary to consider whether a wide range of exemptions apply to the requested information and, if they do, whether disclosure would still be in the public interest. That process is still ongoing in this case.
I can only apologise on behalf of the Council for the delay in responding to your request and confirm that a final response will be provided as soon as possible.

I am still waiting for a response to my original request as an internal review was refused, because the council have not responded yet (to the request).
There was no option for this on the WDTK site other than 'waiting for internal review'.
