Dear St Helens Metropolitan Borough Council,

Hope you are well?

I would like to request information about your business grants. What business grants do you offer to local start-ups/small businesses? What is the allowance per business in 2019 and what will be the allowance in 2020?

Also, if possible, do you have information about how much you have given (grants) to local businesses in the past 5 years in your area?

Yours faithfully,

Hana Bednarova

Hello

I will answer each of your questions in turn.

Q. What business grants do you offer to local start-ups/small businesses?

A. We currently do not offer any formal business grant schemes via the
Council. There may be other support available from the local Chamber of
Commerce and via Liverpool City Region sources.

Q. What is the allowance per business in 2019 and what will be the
allowance in 2020?

A. As above, there is no allowance per se.

Q. Also, if possible, do you have information about how much you have
given (grants) to local businesses in the past 5 years in your area?

A. We do not hold this information as there is no grant scheme.

I hope this information is helpful.

Regards
