Bus Stop Removal

The request is waiting for clarification. If you are S.M., please sign in to send a follow up message.

Dear Transport for London,

I have had multiple issues with the bus stop "Sumner Road (LJ) towards Mitcham" after making several complaints I have never had any correspondence back concerning the issue. I have sent companies to both TFL and croydon council as apparently it is a council owned bus stop.

Issues include constant fly-tipping (human waste also) to the point where the bin had to be removed , smoking in front of house , no privacy as people can see into my house and garden, constant noise and antisocial behaviour. The main issue is due to emissions from the bus having an adverse effect on the livelihood of my child who had severe asthma to the point where the she can no longer go about her day to day activities.

I want to get the bus stop removed or moved elsewhere but have had any luck with my requests and was wondering how I would go about doing this or who to contact.

Furthermore I would also like to know the factors that determines whether a bus stop is removed and the people who are responsible for the removal of a bus stop.

Lastly I would like to know if any bus stop have been removed to moved in the past (LAST 10 YEARS) in croydon and why the bus stop was removed.

thank you

Yours faithfully,

FOI, Transport for London
