I would like to request that you provide the following information under the Freedom of Information Act:

1. How many Social Workers did you have working on a temporary (Agency) basis from the 11th May 2017?

2. How many Social Workers in total did you have working on a temporary (Agency) basis in the financial year to date 2016-17?

3. What was your total expenditure on temporary (Agency) Social workers supplied through a recruitment agency in the financial year to date 2016-17?

4. A break down across teams/services of the total expenditure spent on temporary (Agency) Social workers supplied through a recruitment agency in the financial year to date 2016-17?

5. What is the total budget for temporary social work staff assigned to each social work team for the financial year 2017-2018?

6. A break down of total number of temporary (Agency) social workers and the services, disciplines or teams they have worked in?

7. Hierarchy and Structure chart for both children and adults social services. Broken Down by discipline of teams, service managers and team mangers followed by number of permanent and locum social workers per team.

8. A copy of the preferred suppliers list (other agencies currently being used) for Social work employment. Both Temporary and Permanent social work staff.

9. What framework the council uses if any at all.

Bury is a member of the Association of Greater Manchester Authorities
(AGMA) who procure agency workers through a collaboratively managed
service which is facilitated by Reed.  All permanent social work staff are
recruited through the Greater.Jobs website.
