Dear Mr Williams,

Thank you for your request for information, which was received on 13th July 2022 and has been dealt with under the Environmental Information Regulations 2004.

The specific information you requested was set out in your email, as below.

In response, please find attached the relevant information held by the Council. This is comprised of:

2008 - Shoreline Management Wales report
2012 - Marine licensing letter/consent from Welsh Government
2014 - Access channel tender documentation for mechanical excavation
2016 - Atkins draft dredging options report
2016 - Report Appendix A1
2018 - TMG/BPML lease
2018 - TMG Water Injected Dredging (WID) summary methodology
2018 Anthony Bates HRA and WFDA Assessments

The following information is published online and can be found here:

2017-02-06 - Executive Board report with final Atkins options report:

https://democracy.carmarthenshire.gov.wa...

2017-05-02 Executive Board minute to endorse 6 month exclusivity partnering proposal with TMG:

https://democracy.carmarthenshire.gov.wa...

2017-12-18 Executive Board minute to agree to enter into lease with TMG:

https://democracy.carmarthenshire.gov.wa...

Please also note that TMG BPML operate under a lease, not a management agreement.

The methodology by which they dredge the harbour is not specified by the Council and is a matter for them. However, the lease requires them to:

- Ensure safe access/egress to harbour;
- Dredge the Harbour to a depth no lower than 1 metre below impound level;
- Comply with necessary legal permissions and required licenses.

Finally, we are advised that relevant Council officers would be happy to meet with you to discuss and update on matters, if this is something that you feel may be of assistance. Please let us know if you would like to arrange such a meeting.

Yours sincerely

Dear Council,

Thank you for these details. I would be happy to meet with Council Officers, and I believe that my details have been passed on to them now.

Could you please re-send the document 140312 DRAWING Approach Channel.pdf, as the pdf file appears to be corrupted in some way. I have tried various methods to view it and none have worked so far.

Thank you again,

Yours sincerely,

D Williams

Dear Information Governance Team,

I am sorry, but no matter what software I try to use, I am unable to open this drawing of the approach channel.

I either have a blank page in pdf, or a corrupted text only html page.

I believe you have my contact details now, could this be emailed directly to me?

Many thanks,

Yours sincerely,

D Williams
