b) A detailed breakdown of the agreed budget for the Grace Academy, Coventry over the last year - with information indicating how this will be met with funding from central government and any other sources.

Erm.. no, the law is that you need to supply the information to me within 20 days.

Joe - it is 20 working days under the FOI Act, however the keyword is that authorities should send you the information *promptly*.

I was pointing out that it wasn't much of a 'departmental standard' to reply within 20 working days given that is the requirement under the FOI 2000.

In response to your request for information under the Freedom of
Information Act, namely -

a) Please provide the total annual allocated funds to the Grace Academy
Coventry for as long as you have them:

Response - General Annual Grant totals for Grace Academy Coventry are as
follows:

2008/09 £5,862,577

2009/10 £5,132,859

2010/11 £5,232,323

Grace Academy Coventry opened in September 2008 so no General Account
Grant figures exist before then.

b) Please provide a detailed breakdown of the agreed budget for the Grace
Academy, Coventry over the last year - with information indicating how
this will be met with funding from central government and any other
sources.

Response - As Charitable Companies Academies must comply with Companies
and Charity Law and this includes the requirement to produce, and have
audited, annual financial statements. The annual financial statements
include information on incoming resources from all sources and are
available on the charity commission and company house websites (see
below). The accounts for the academic years 2007-08 and 2008-09 have been
submitted and are available for review. The 2009-10 accounts have to be
prepared by the 31 December.
