Please see below the Council’s response to your request for information.

 

1/ Where elective home education currently sits in your authority

In Education under the strategic lead of the Service Manager for Social
Inclusion but with strong operational links to SEN

 

2/ Which line in the s251 table included an allocation for elective home
education services in a/ 2013-14 and b/ 2014-15

2013/14 - 0.4 fte EHE Teacher's post split 50% to s251 line 2.0.6 (cost
centre 90285)  and 50% to s251 line 1.2.5 ( cost centre 90280)

2013/14 - Home Education Service s251 section 1.2.7

2014/15 - 0.4 fte EHE teacher's post split 50% to s251 line 2.0.6 (cost
centre 90285 ) and 50% to s251 line 1.2.5 (cost centre 90280).

3/ What is the budget sum allocated to elective home education services
for the current year

2013/14 - Funding for the 0.4 fte EHE teacher's post represents actual
salary and is therefore exempt under S40(2)9 and (3)(a)(i) of the Freedom
of Information Act 2000. The Home Education service budget is £282,020

2014/15 - Funding for the 0.4 fte EHE teacher's post represents actual
salary and is therefore exempt under S40(2)9 and (3)(a)(i) of the Freedom
of Information Act 2000. The Home Education service budget is £148,270 A
copy of the exemption is attached.

 

4/ What is the forward budget sum allocated to elective home education
services for the next financial year.

There is no forward Budget sum allocated as Budgets for 2015/16 have not
yet been decided.
