Dear Ms Nicholson
I am writing further to your email below. I will take each of your questions in turn.
1. EHE comes under Alternative Provision (Sylvia Lord) which in turn comes under David Alderson as the Senior Advisor for Virtual School, Alternative Provision and EHE.
2. a) 2013/14 and b) 2014/15 - for both years Section 251 budget tables and costs for EHE are included within line 1.2.5 (SEN Support Services).
3. Budget sum allocated to EHE for 2014/15: The base budget for EHE is £22,500.
4. What is the forward budget sum for EHE for the next financial year? This is not known at present as the process for preparing/building next year's budgets isn't usually finalised until late December/ early January. As a guide, it is usual procedure to add an inflationary element to the current base budget for EHE.
If you are not completely satisfied with my response, please contact me again, or write to the complaints officer at: Dorset County Council, County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester, Dorset DT1 1XJ.
