has been dealt with under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act
2000.

 

1/ Where elective home education currently sits in your authority

Schools and Learning Department, Education Improvement Service

 

2/ Which line in the s251 table included an allocation for elective home
education services in a/ 2013-14 and b/ 2014-15

The Education Improvement Service budget is shown in line 2.0.10 school
improvement on the S251.

 

3/ What is the budget sum allocated to elective home education services
for the current year

£151,000 - Staff costs EHE Manager and Consultant time approximately
£151,000. There is a dedicated EHE officer, with a team of contracted EHE
consultants in the Schools and Learning Department, Education Improvement
Service. The costs include the administrative/office staff  but does not
include the significant cost of a range of services who contribute to
individual/family support, other than the dedicated EHE team time
e.g., Multi Agency Teams including The Traveller Service, Education
Welfare, Careers, Family Resource and Safeguarding and Social Care.

 

4/ What is the forward budget sum allocated to elective home education
services for the next financial year

The budget for next year has not yet been set.
