Applications for home tuition are submitted to the Virtual School Team
that is positioned within the School Support and Intervention area of

a/ 2013-14 Line 1.0.1 ISB £164,373
b/ 2014-15 Line 1.2.8 Support for Inclusion £144,381
3. What is the budget sum allocated to elective home education services
for the current year
The Home Education budget is consolidated with Hospital Education. It is
not possible to disaggregate these areas within that budget. The total
budget is therefore as indicated in the 2014-15 Support for Inclusion area
(Q2 above) of £144,381.
4. What is the forward budget sum allocated to elective home education
services for the next financial year
Budgets have not been agreed for the 2015/16 financial year.

Thank you very much for this. Unfortunately I think there has been a misunderstanding because I was asking about elective home education where children are educated at home by parental choice.

I have received the following response to your query.
Unfortunately it wouldn’t make a difference to our response as we treat all home tuition the same whether elective or not, and would not be able to disaggregate the costs.
