4/ What is the forward budget sum allocated to elective home
education services for the next financial year

Dear Ms Nicholson,
I am writing in response to your request for information (ref FOI 9444) regarding budget for elective home education.
The information has been prepared by the relevant Council service and is as follows:
Q1. The duties and responsibilities in respect of Elective Home Education are currently delivered on behalf of the Local Authority via the School Support Service within Services to People.
Q2. There is no budget line for EHE
Q3. There is no specific budget allocated to the provision of EHE - the scope of work required to ensure the LA complies with the duties and responsibilities in respect of Elective Home Education is currently delivered as part of the overall portfolio of a senior officer. The volume of work equates to approximately 15-20% (8k - 11k) of the officer's workload.
Q4. The Council has not yet approved a budget for 2015/16
