Dear J Singh,

Thank you for your request for information received by The University of
Manchester on 01 October 2020 which was as follows:

I am writing to you regarding your BSc Geography (F802) course.

Could you please provide myself with an Excel spreadsheet with the
following data/information from the last 2 admission cycles:

1) A Level grades (predicted)

2) A Level grades (achieved)

3) Whether an offer was made

Also, how many people applied for the course and how many offers were
made?

The University has now considered your request and the information you are
seeking in relation to questions 1 and 2 can be found attached to this
email on a spread-sheet entitled “FOI 020-518 GEOGRAPHY A-LEVEL DATA”.
There are two tabs on the spread-sheet, one in relation to predicted
grades and one in relation to achieved grades. Please note the following
in relation to this data:

·         There is not a 1:1 relationship between the two lists (e.g. a
student might be planning to take A levels and so have predicted grades
but then not take the exams in the end or a student may have applied with
their grades already so no predicted grades).

·         The spread-sheet lists only A-levels as requested however you
should note that other qualifications are considered.

·         RE, RN and RW on the attached mean Reformed [A levels] in
England, Northern Ireland or Wales.
