Dear Alexander,

I am writing to acknowledge your requests under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 received by The University of Manchester today - constituting the request below and the request attached. Please note that as they both relate to our economics courses we have merged them into one request for the purposes of costs in accordance with Section 12 (4) (a) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, our reference as per the subject line.

In addition to this, they will also be merged for the purposes of costs with our request reference [020-407] which we note is the same as the attached request however for a different academic year.

We have previously refused a request of yours on cost grounds reference [020-364] which we note is very similar to some of the later requests you have submitted but for a wider time-frame. You may therefore not be aware of the provision within the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to merge requests for cost purposes. We would encourage you to consider this when submitting any further requests.

The University will respond to your request within 20 working days. You will receive one response to the below and attached, which will be sent to this email address.

Kind regards

Sharon
