I applied for a replacement BRP card in Nov 2018 and received my decision letter on 5th Dec 2018. The letter said that the replacement permit would be sent to me under separate cover within 7 working days. (Case ID: 024504519). However, after 22 working days I still have not received it. I have contacted the home office twice during the period and got the same response: Unfortunately there is a delay in producing your BRP. You may be aware that there is now a requirement for your National Insurance Number to be displayed on your BRP, we are currently waiting for the Department of Works & Pensions to confirm your National Insurance number.
I double checked my NI number submitted and can confirm there is no error (NI number: SZ387280A). I am a Tier 2 General visa holder (valid for 5 years). Could you please let me know the progress of the confirmation? This has been delaying my BRP replacement progress for so long. I have an urgent trip planned. Thanks a lot!
