Dear Home Office,
My Case ID: 020997417
On 16/08/2016 ,I was approved for FLR(M) visa by attending at Croydon Premium Service.
According to Home office letter I should get BRP within 7~10 working days. Now it has been more than 10 working days - I followed the process outlined on your website to contact if the BRP card has not arrived.
I did that, and this is the response I received:
"Thank you for your email.
Please be advised that there has been a technical issue with producing your BRP.
This has been passed to the appropriate team who are aware and will contact you again in due course.
BRP Delivery Team"
My father passed away & I need to travel asap to see my mum. I am stuck only for this BRP card delay. I tried to contact with the case worker & BRP card return unit by recorded delivery explaining my situation. But till today no response received.
I am clueless about where my BRP card is and whether or not I am going to receive it in the next couple of days. There is no transparency when it comes to information available on this.
At this circumstance,
(1) Could you please be a little bit specific - when EXACTLY do you think I will receive my BRP card?
(2)Could you please advise what is the best way forward in this situation of emergency.
Thank you in advance for you kind cooperation at this matter & looking forward to hear from you soon.
Further to your recent enquiry, your Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) is now out for delivery.
You should receive the permit within 7 working days. However, if you do not receive the permit within 10 working days of the date of this email, please report this using the reporting tool available at:
On delivery of the BRP the courier will require proof of identity and a signature to confirm receipt of the package.
On receipt of the permit you must check it carefully to make sure that all the details on it are correct. If you find a mistake, please report the error within 10 working days of receiving the permit using the reporting tool available at:
We apologise for the delay and any inconvenience caused.
