Brownfield Capacity in Hart District

Waiting for an internal review by Hart District Council of their handling of this request.

Dear Hart District Council,

Last October, it was identified through the SHLAA (Parts 1 and 3), that there was capacity for ~750 dwellings on brownfield (previously developed) land in the district over the plan period up to 2031.

The draft housing options paper recently published on the website says that brownfield capacity has now dropped to only 400 units.

Can you please provide an analysis of the brownfield sites originally identified in the October 2014 SHLAA and show:

1) Which of those sites has been granted planning permission since October 2014 and how many units did they yield,

2) Which of those sites have now been withdrawn and how many units were "lost"

3) Which sites are still active, and how many units are they now expected to deliver.

Thank you for your assistance.

Yours faithfully,

David Turver

Dear Mr Turver

You submitted an FOI request (ref: FOI-2015-1815) as follows:

"Last October, it was identified through the SHLAA (Parts 1 and 3), that there was capacity for ~750 dwellings on brownfield (previously developed) land in the district over the plan period up to 2031.

The draft housing options paper recently published on the website says that brownfield capacity has now dropped to only 400 units.

2) Which of those sites have now been withdrawn and how many units were "lost"

3) Which sites are still active, and how many units are they now expected to deliver."

Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding, however, we do not hold a version of the SHLAA that was around in October 2014, and we do not have the analysis that you seek of the brownfield sites that were in it at that time. SHLAAs are continually being updated, the latest being available at http://www.hart.gov.uk/Evidence-base#SHLAA Docs

Dear Daniel Hawes,

Thank you for your response. I am sorry that you seem to have mislaid the information related to the SHLAA in October 2014.

Helpfully, this very website has preserved that very document which you supplied to me earlier this year as part of a different FOI request.

The document in question can be found from this link:

https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/h...

Now we have confirmed the data does in fact exist, I think you are now in a position to answer the questions posed earlier, namely:

Can you please provide an analysis of the brownfield sites originally identified in the October 2014 SHLAA and show:

1) Which of those sites has been granted planning permission since October 2014 and how many units did they yield?

2) Which of those sites have now been withdrawn and how many units were "lost"?

3) Which sites are still active, and how many units are they now expected to deliver?

Yours sincerely,

David Turver

Dear Hart District Council,

I have provided evidence that the base data to which my question relates does in fact exist. Indeed it is on this site as you provided it in answer to an earlier request.

https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/2...

Could you now please comply with the law and provide the answers to me questions please.

Yours faithfully,

David Turver
