Dear Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust,

Please can you provide information to answer the following in relation to the provision of British Sign Language (BSL)/English Interpreting for your Deaf patients.

1) How many Trust patients are recorded requiring access to their health via BSL?

2) What is the overall value of the BSL/English Interpreting contract?

3) What are the KPI's for the contract?

4) How and where are the requirements of the NHS AIS written into the contract?

5) What are the quality standards relating to the provision of BSL/English Interpreting through the contract?

6)What percentage of bookings meet these standards?

7)What are the requirements for the provider to engage with local interpreters?

Please can you provide comparative figures for the years 2016/17 and 2017/18
8) How many requests for BSL/English interpreters were made?
9) How many of these requests were fulfilled in each of these years?
10) How many complaints were received in relation to the BSL/English interpreting provision or lack of?
