You sent us a Freedom of Information request on 27/02/2018

Your request number is CRN00157465

Our reply to your request is:

Dear Mr Church,

Apologies for the late response to your query. Please find attached a
study on conference centres commissioned by the Council in 2012.

We have identified that some of the information requested constitutes
personal information which has therefore been redacted in reliance
upon the exemption provided by s.40(2) Freedom of Information Act
2000 (FOIA). Additional information has been withheld because we are
of the view that its disclosure would be prejudicial to the
commercial interests of both third parties and the Council. We are
also of the view that s.41 – information provided in confidence – is
engaged, since much of the withheld information was supplied in the
expectation of confidence and disclosure would constitute a breach of
that confidence”.

This response should answer your request in full.

If you’re not satisfied with our response, or if you want to appeal
against any exemptions:

Email: [1][Bristol City Council request email]
Write to: Customer Relations (100TS), PO Box 3176, Bristol, BS3 9FS

If you’re still not satisfied with our response:

You can complain to the Information Commissioner.
