Bringing Child Abusers to Justice
Dear Norfolk Police Authority,
For the years 2008, 2009 and 2010 please could you provide a year by year break down of all Charges there have been under the following Acts:
1. Children and Young Persons Act 1933 sect 1
2. Infanticide Act 1938
3. Indecency with Children Act 1960
4. Sexual Offences Act 2003
5. Protection of Children Act 1978 Sect 1
6. Child Abduction Act 1984
7. Domestic Violence Crime and Victims Act 2004 sect 5
11. Mental capacity Act 2005 sect 44
Please could you also state whether the person charged was male or female.

I refer to your below request under the Freedom of information Act:
For the years 2008, 2009 and 2010 please could you provide a year by year

8. Mental capacity Act 2005 sect 44
With regard to point 3 above, the Indecency with Children Act 1960 has
been repealed and no offences will have been charged under this Act since
2004.
Can you please clarify what offences you are interested in obtaining
information on and whether you wish to substitute point 3 with other
legislation; if so please identify the relevant legislation; or whether
you wish us to simply delete point 3?
Please note that whilst we await this clarification on your request the 20
working day period for responding to your request is suspended.
