Dear Mr Bradley,

Thank you for your e-mail dated 23 April 2018 in which you asked:

“I would be grateful if you could explain why according to the minutes of
the meeting of the Calderdale District Consultation Sub Committee held on
the 10th October 2017, on page 4 it states...

"Pete Myers informed the committee that each station has a development
plan which will be implemented should funding become available."

Please be aware that the information provided in the notes of the meeting
of the 10 October 2017 Calderdale District Consultation Sub Committee is
incorrect. Station Development Plans have not been developed for each
station.

In 2015 the West Yorkshire Combined Authority approved a first phase of
high level station development plans for stations in West Yorkshire not
covered by the West Yorkshire Plus Transport Fund station gateway
programme (the gateway programme includes Leeds, Bradford Interchange and
Forster Square, Huddersfield, Halifax and Castleford).

The first phase of Station Development Plans were developed for the
following stations and did not include Brighouse:

Bradford Calderdale Kirklees Leeds Wakefield
District

Keighley Sowerby Bridge Batley Cross Gates Knottingley

Shipley Todmorden Dewsbury Headingley Pontefract Monkhill

Mirfield Horsforth

Ravensthorpe Morley

No additional funding has been made available to date for progressing
further phases of developing Station Development Plans for other stations
in West Yorkshire.
