Dear Mr Tibbitt

I am writing in response to your Freedom of Information request of 22 September regarding Business Stream's planning and preparation for a possible future when the UK may not be a member of the European Union ("Brexit").

As Business Stream operations are UK based servicing UK-based customers (ie we are a water retailer operating in the British market with no overseas activity, whose services are entirely within the UK) we have given Brexit limited consideration. In response to your specific questions:

1. No spend on external consultants or support.
2. None, as no Brexit planning documentation has been prepared.
3. None, as we have not produced any technical or advisory briefing documentation on Brexit.
4. None, as we have not received any copies of any technical or advisory documentation from other public bodies that relates to Brexit contingency planning.
5. No assessment has been made of the financial impact on the organisation, either positive or negative, of the Brexit process. As such, we have not set-aside a contingency fund or invested as a direct consequence of the Brexit process.
