Brexit and General Aviation

Adrian Beney made this Freedom of Information request to Home Office

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was refused by Home Office.

Dear Home Office,

Please provide details on "no deal" Brexit planning in respect of the availability of immigration and customs staff at General Aviation airfields.

Specifically I would like to know whether or not the Home Office is planning any change to the existing regime and extent of border and customs checks for General Aviation flights originating in the UK travelling to the EU, including the Republic of Ireland and vice-versa; including the provision of such arrangements at UK airfields which do not currently operate scheduled international passenger transport flights.

Yours sincerely

Adrian Beney
