Brent Green Infrastructure Strategy

Waiting for an internal review by Brent Borough Council of their handling of this request.

Dear Brent Borough Council,

I would like to see a copy Brent's Green Infrastructure Strategy please.

On the Local Plan Policies Map, the South Kilburn Public Open Space ( Brent Kilburns only surviving park size park) is indicated as Public Open Space. While on the London Land Commission Register of surplus Land the same South Kilburn Public Open Space is indicated as surplus 'land.'

The closed in neighbourhood surrounding this 'central park space' is set for a trebling of it's population. While the revised National Planning Policy Framework makes clear this community park is protected from ever becoming developer 'land.'

In fear of continued no plan/ no community/ super prime public land commodification only I would like to ask to see a copy of Brent's Green Infrastructure Strategy.

Yours faithfully,
David Walton

Dear Dorothy Watson,

It is alarming to know that Brent does not have a clear consistent and overarching Brent Local Green Infrastructure Strategy. This is extremely un-helpful to ' There But Not There' estate neighbourhoods of unregistered long established estate community green space use rights at the UK Land Regisrty, where they are instead registered as if architect designed estate utopian UK built heritage never existed.

Constructive ambiguity and conflicting chaotic for developer rule spatial no plan no registered Brent is bringing harsh social death to vulnerable estate communities in what is the most ethically diverse borough anywhere in the UK. A new in 2010 estate pocket park was locked-up 'to developer take' for a year ( now happily re-opened for community use once more), thought still likely UK Land Registry registered as pre estate fragments.

Brent can do better and I request an Internal Review of this harmful ongoing chaotic practice regarding no clear Green infrastructure Strategy to define what is valued green asset to register and what is super prime public land 'surplus' commodity for market liquidation, speculation, clearnaces and private enclosures?

Good growth and good design must have a Brent Green Infrastructure Strategy put in place. An Internal Review please.

Yours sincerely,

David Walton
