We are responding to your email requesting the following information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000:

‘I am requesting information on:
1. How many students sat Unit 2 Leisure, Travel and Tourism in Summer 2023.
2. How many students who sat the exam received each grade.’

CCEA’s response is as follows:

1. 151 students sat Unit 2 Leisure and Tourism in Summer 2023.

2. Due to the numbers of students who sat the examination and the grades spread, it is not possible to provide the data for each grade as requested as it may inadvertently breach the personal data of third parties under the Freedom of Information Act Section 40(2). As such, CCEA has sought to provide the information in a format which protects that information. Grade spread has been provided below:

Grades/Numbers:

A*/A: 23
B: 23
C*: 32
C: 24
D: 18
E: 16
F, G, U: 15
