Breakdown of Falklands Veteran's Suicides by regiment, ship and squadron

Waiting for an internal review by Defence Analytical Services Agency of their handling of this request.

Dear Defence Analytical Services Agency,
on May 1 ,2014 you published a report entitled "A study of deaths among UK Armed Forces personnel deployed to the 1982 Falklands Campaign: 1982 to 2013 ". Would it be possible to provide a breakdown of the number of deaths due to suicide by regiment (or ship or squadron as appropriate) and the total number of veterans from the cohort by regiment (or ship or squadron).

Yours faithfully,

Mark McCarthy

Dear Defence Analytical Services Agency,
can you please initiate an internal review as to why you have failed in your statutory duty to respond to my freedom of information request reference a breakdown of Falkland veteran suicides by regiment,
If you do not respond within 7 calendar days, I will contact the ICO and request that they instigate legal proceedings against DASA. That would extremely expensive and wasteful option for DASA and therefore at the same time I will also contact the secretary of defence to highlight that there are civil servants within his organisation who would prefer to squander public money by allowing this to drag on rather than fulfill their statutory duties. The disappointment I feel at your lack of cooperation is made worse because I have read in your own reports how the original data was collated and I now believe you will end up spending more time dealing with my complaint that it would take to fulfill the original request.

Yours faithfully,

Mark McCarthy
