Dear 14202,

Thank you for your email.

The ICO guidance on FOI requests states:

Any variation of the requester's title or first name combined with their surname (e.g. Mr Smith or John Smith) will be sufficient to meet this requirement. However, a first name or surname provided in isolation, or a set of initials, will not.

As such, we kindly request you provide us with your title and surname as a minimum.

Dear Police Service of Northern Ireland,

Thank you for your reply. The wording of my request on reflection leaves a lot to be desired and was misleading.

would it be possible to simply provide me with the cost of the 'Back dated payments for the relevant time periods"

Good morning

Thank you for contacting us regarding request FOI-2024-01414.

A breakdown to detail backdated payments would not be possible within
legislative cost, however, we could provide annual spend compared to the
basic value of annual payment. This would show the excess amount per year
paid but could not be classified as arrears.

If you would like us to retrieve this information, please advise us to
open a new Freedom of Information request in regards to the above.

Thank you.

Yours sincerely
