Breach of UCAS Guidelines for Fair Competition

We're waiting for James Duncan to read recent responses and update the status.

Dear Cardiff University,

In both the current (2023-24) UCAS cycle and the previous cycle (2022-23), how many times have you breached UCAS guidelines on fair competition by making conditional offers to applicants with either the following or similar wording attached to the offer:

"This offer is subject to you obtaining grades BBB at A-level. If you make us your Firm choice by 30th June, we will guarantee to accept grades BBC."

Yours faithfully,

James Duncan
