Breach of Taxpayer's data protection rights by Council's bailiff contractor

The request was partially successful.

Dear North East Lincolnshire Council,

Local Government Ombudsman decision ref: 18 011 180 (paragraph 5)
https://www.lgo.org.uk/decisions/benefit...

"5. The bailiff says that the visit was recorded on a bodycam and video footage shows that the envelope was delivered through a gap in the door frame of the main door."

Has the council independently verified the video footage? If so, what exactly did it show?

Yours faithfully,

Jack Emerson

Freedom Of Information (NELC), North East Lincolnshire Council

Dear Sir / Madam

Thank you for your information request reference 12632_1819.

We consider that this request forms part of a concerted campaign against
North East Lincolnshire Council intended to frustrate and challenge our
ability to effectively administer services including the handling of
Freedom of Information requests and Council Tax collection. Over an
extended period of time there have been many similar requests which are
placing an undue burden on North East Lincolnshire Council. These requests
are intended to raise unfounded allegations against the Council and other
organisations, with no substance behind the allegations, or intention to
obtain information from North East Lincolnshire Council. We therefore
determine that this request is vexatious.

Section 14 (1) of the Freedom of Information Act states that a public
authority is not obliged to comply with a request for information if that
request is vexatious.

North East Lincolnshire Council will therefore not be responding to this
request or any correspondence in relation to this request.

If you are dissatisfied with the Council’s handling of your request, you
can request an independent review by contacting the Information
Commissioner's Office at Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire
SK9 5AF.

Yours sincerely

North East Lincolnshire Council

There are no allegations (unfounded or otherwise) against the Council or any other organisation within my request. Your grounds for determining that this request is vexatious are therefore baseless.

Please deal with the request in accordance with the law.
