Thank you for your email of 11 June 2018 where you requested information
about Breaches of Building Regulations

 

The information you requested is as below.

  

Q1 – Enforcement action has commenced on 515 occasions for failure to
comply with building regulations.

Q2 – For a Breach of Building Regulations over the last ten years could
fall into 2 separate categories in that those which were resolved by a pre
contravention intervention taking place by a buildiong control officer. In
these cases this information is not formally recorded. In addition where
breaches were found and court proceedings occurred. There have been 3
occasions.

 

If you are dissatisfied with the handling of your request, you have the
right to ask for an internal review. Internal review requests should be
submitted within two months of the date of receipt of the response to your
original letter and should be addressed to: Information Governance
Manager, Trafford Council, Town Hall, Talbot Road Stretford M32 0TH or via
