the day after the request is received) as defined by the EIRs.

If we need to ask you to clarify your request we will contact you.  If we
do ask for clarification and you don’t provide it your request will lapse

this is the case and explain how to pay it and what your options are.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic the response to your request might be
delayed.  Many council officers have been redeployed to assist with the
council’s response.  We have a large number of shielded and vulnerable
residents who require support and assistance, and there are many other
actions Camden is undertaking to support and assist residents as part of
our role as a responsible and caring council.  Many services have been
affected as officers move to different roles.  There are also employees
who are unwell.   Therefore obtaining information to answer requests is
taking longer than usual.

You will receive a response and we will do our best to meet the deadline,
but it is possible the response may be late.  We apologise if this is the
case.  The ICO have issued guidance on this

You may have seen on social media that some councils are refusing to
accept requests at present or are blanket refusing them.  Camden Council
is not doing that.  We will do our very best to respond to as many
requests as quickly as we can.

Please bear with us.  Thank you, and stay safe.

Yours sincerely,--

Dear Ms Ryan,

Environmental Information Regulations 2004

Thank you for your recent information request.

I am writing to provide you with an update on your request.  The
information concerned and issues raised are complex and voluminous and I
will need additional time to locate and assess this information because
there is a  large amount of complex information.

Regulation 7 (1) allows the council to extend the deadline for complying
with these types of requests by an additional 20 working days.

We are extending the time period until the 15^th June 2020 and you should
receive a response by this date but much sooner if possible. I apologise
for any inconvenience this may cause.

Sincerely
