Branding of Council Services

This request has been withdrawn by the person who made it. There may be an explanation in the correspondence below.

Dear Worthing Borough Council,

I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information.

Would you please send me an up to date version of your Brand Guidelines / Standards.

How much does the council spend on the branding it uses?

How much does the council spend on marketing per annum?

If it is not possible to provide the information requested due to the information exceeding the cost of compliance limits identified in Section 12, please provide advice and assistance, under the Section 16 obligations of the Act, as to how I can refine my request.

If you can identify any ways that my request could be refined I would be grateful for any further advice and assistance.

Yours faithfully,

James Thomas

Information Officer, Worthing Borough Council

Dear Mr Thomas,
I acknowledge receipt of your email sent to Adur & Worthing Councils but
addressed to Worthing Borough Councils on 11th April 2020.  The councils
also received the same request from you using
email [1][email address] on the same date, but
addressed to Adur District Council, which has been logged and assigned to
reference number FOI/4156441/2020.  Please quote this reference number in
all future communication relating to this matter.

Adur & Worthing Councils provide a joint working service for both
authorities.  To prevent duplication of handling identical requests
received, we only log this request once and will be providing the
information requested to the initial request received under the above
reference number.  We will send our response to
email [2][email address
Please note due to the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Adur &
Worthing Councils are following government advice, to protect the public
and our staff.
We are working hard to ensure that services to residents are as near to
normal in these very uncertain times, however we are prioritising our
workload to ensure essential services continue. Whilst many staff work off
site, there are some limitations on the work that can be carried out,
including searching, printing and posting paper documents and accessing
some historic data, which is only available when working in the office.
With this in mind it is believed that responding to information or rights
requests may take longer than the statutory timescales (20 working days or
1 calendar month) in order to search, locate, review the information and
provide you with a response.

Thank you for your patience and understanding, we wish you and your family
well in these difficult times.

Please see the guidance and updates provided by the Information
Commissioner
