We are hoping to compile information on London Borough specific support services for those impacted by Gender-Based Violence.
Please may you provide the following info:
1) Information on any council funded, supported or sponsored activity that aims to support/protect victims of gender-based violence - particularly young people.
2) Information on any council funded, supported or sponsored activity that aims to support/rehabilitate perpetrators of gender-based violence - particularly young people.
3) Information on any council funded, supported or sponsored activity that aims to support schools or teachers to help their students in relation to gender-based violence.

Unfortunately, the Council is currently experiencing a delay in our
response times due to demand and resource. As an organisation we are aware

Further to your request received on 19/01/2023, I confirm that the Council
has now considered your request under the Freedom of Information Act
2000. For ease of reference, I will address each of your questions in
turn.
Please may you provide the following info:
1) Information on any council funded, supported or sponsored activity that
aims to support/protect victims of gender-based violence - particularly
young people.
The FJC support V/S of gender based violence including young people 16+.
The council supports Croydon and Bromley Women’s Aid in providing
specialist NRPF support for V/S via MOPAC funding.
2) Information on any council funded, supported or sponsored activity that
aims to support/rehabilitate perpetrators of gender-based violence -
particularly young people.
Croydon are currently funded by MOPAC to deliver the Drive programme which
works with high harm risk perpetrators – will work with 16+. Croydon are
also funded by MOPAC to deliver the Restart programme for medium risk
perpetrators – 18+
3) Information on any council funded, supported or sponsored activity that
aims to support schools or teachers to help their students in relation to
gender-based violence.
The LA delivered a traded training session on 5.12.22 on harmful sexual
behaviour and linked it in to gender based violence as well as more
generalised child on child abuse.
FREE training for schools on INCEL culture.
Launching the Healthy Relationship Advisory Forum for schools which links
in with gender based violence as well as wider relationship challenges.
If you are dissatisfied with the way the Council has handled your request
