Dear Conwy County Borough Council,

In light of the recent Panorama programme on Monday 15th of May, can you the Council please confirm or deny that the staff contracted by the Council through Kingdom security do not have any form of bonus or "competency allowance" as has been highlighted are the same thing.

Apologies for the delay - Please find below a statement on the subject provided by Kingdom.

“Kingdom Services Group Ltd and their Environmental Protection Division pay all their staff the Living wage and in the case of London Boroughs the London living wage as a basic salary. Kingdom have the option of also paying a discretional competency allowance in addition to the basic salary which covers all the key performance competencies linked with the role and not solely linked to the number of FPN’s they issue.”

Kingdom are currently reviewing their staff remuneration arrangements.
