Dear Sir/Madam,

I refer to your Freedom of Information request dated the 22^nd May, 2017.

Please find below the Authority’s response to your request:-

Question:-

Are Kingdom EPD Officers remunerated against the number of Fixed Penalty
Notices they issue?

Answer:-

No. All our EPD Officers are paid a set hourly rate which is linked to the
geographical area they patrol (London Living wage applying). All are paid
above the minimum wage and will remain so when it was increased in April
2016.

Question:-

Do EPD Officers receive any other bonus or benefits?

Answer:-

Yes, we value all our employees and EPD Officers are sometimes rewarded
through discretionary competency allowances. These payments are linked to
a number of the key competencies and are NOT determined solely by the
number of FPNs they issue. These competencies include:

attendance, punctuality, positive public and customer feedback plus a low
number of complaints being upheld.
