Dear Ministry of Defence,
Could you please let me know the identity of the body used in Operation Mincemeat in 1943. Some sources say it was a tramp from London Glyndwr Michael but there is also a published letter from the Admiralty stating it was sailor John Melville who was lost when HMS Dasher sank. Can you confirm which one it was .
