Board member remuneration
To whom it may concern
I am writing to you to request details of the remuneration of your non-executive board members. I am looking for figures on:
a) The number of days of paid work claimed by each individual member of your board members from Jan to Dec 2020, including the chair. (Please break this figure down so it show the totals for each member.)
b) The total paid to each board member from Jan to Dec 2020.
I am requesting this information under freedom of information legislation and look forward to your response within 20 working days.

Audit Scotland’s current Board details are available on our [1]website.
During 2020 there were changes to the Board as shown in the Board and
Directors expenses report available on our [2]website
The number of days of paid work is 32 days for the Chair and 24 days for
the Non executive members.
b) The total paid to each board member from Jan to Dec 2020.
Details of payments to Board members are included in Audit Scotland’s
Annual report. The report for 2019/20 is available on our [3]website. The
2020/21 report will be published in June 2021 therefore this information
is exempt under the freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2020 section 27
1 (a) Information intended for future publication.

decide whether we acted properly and according to the Freedom of
