I am asking this question in accorance with the FOI act.
1)For the past 3 admissions cycles what was the average BMAT scores of people who had a recieved an interview.

Further to your FOI request, I can confirm the following:-



A composite score- taking into consideration scores from each of the 3
components is used to create a distribution curve for all BMAT scores for
applicants to Leeds. This distribution determines a score out of 5. This
score out of 5 is added to the academic score which is then used to rank
and shortlist to interview.


Average BMAT score for those attending interview:


2019 - 13.40

2018 - 10.95

2017 - 11.29




Data from Dentistry for the BMAT scores for those who were invited to
interview that cycle, the averages are:


201920 - 16.6

201819 - 16.1

201718 - 16.0
