Blyth power station site
Dear Sir or Madam,
In the late eighties there were test piles (probes ) where the proposed power station will be sited. The tests were carried out over a period of 2 years or more . I would like to ask if Northumberland county council hold any information on the tests .
Yours faithfully,

Dear Mr Thompson
I refer to your recent FoI request regarding information held by the
County Council in relation to test piles undertaken in the late 1980s on
the site of the proposed Blyth Power Station.
The County Council's historic planning records for that period have been
checked and I can confirm that we hold no information relating to the
tests.
Yours sincerely

Dear Mr Thompson,
I am writing to you following your request for an internal review of your
FOI request of 9th April 2009.
Following receipt of your enquiry on 9th April 2009 you will recall that I
contacted you and arranged a meeting to discuss your enquiry and your
wider concerns regarding the Cambois area.
At the subsequent meeting in my office at 9am on the 10th June 2009 ,
which your father also attended, I answered your specific request for
information namely that the Council did not hold any specific information
on a power station proposal before May 2007 nor did it have any specific
plans for the compulsory purchase of housing in the area.
It was agreed at the meeting that you would contact me by e-mail or
telephone every 2 or 3 months to see if there were any new developments in
the Canbois area rather than send a steady stream of ad hoc requests for
information. This offer still stands should you wish to avail yourself of
it. You also shared with me your aspiration to build some houses on your
land at Cambois and I advised that you may need to test the water by
submitting a planning application as you were unhappy with the informal
planning advice which had been provided in the past.
I hope this information meets your requirements.
