Frankie Roberto

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am pursuing a project to compile a list of historical 'blue plaques' that have been erected across the UK.

A couple of sources suggest that Islington Council has run a blue plaques scheme in the past.

Could you tell me whether you have any record of any previous plaque scheme run by the council, or whether any such such scheme is currently in operation or is being considered.

If such a scheme has existed in the past, could you send me a list of all the plaques erected under the scheme, if available. Where possible, this should include the location of the plaque, the inscription, and the date it was erected.

Yours faithfully,

Frankie Roberto

Good, Kit, Islington Borough Council
