Blocking off of Roads

Dear Liverpool City Council,

I write in relation to the decision to block traffic from entering or leaving North Drive (L15) from Sandown Lane.

Whilst I acknowledge that this happened some years ago, I am seeking to understand the scale of the problem at the time and whether any consideration was given to the knock on effect to Orford St in taking the decision to block North Drive at the junction with Sandown Lane.

Therefore may I ask for the following information to be supplied?

1. How many complaints from local residents where received by Liverpool City Council directly from residents of North Drive regarding traffic problems and over what period (in months and years)?
2. How many times was the issue of traffic problems in North Drive brought to the attention of Council Officials of Liverpool City Council by local councillors and/or MP prior to the decision to block off North Drive and over what period (in months and years)?
3. What where the names of the Councillors who raised the issue?
4. Can you provide copies of those correspondents from and to the counsellor(s) that contributed to Liverpool City Council upholding its decision to Block off North Drive?
5. What evidence was gathered in order for Liverpool City Council to uphold their decision to block off North Drive?
6. Can you provide a summary of any and all data collected that was used to uphold this decision including maps, speed data, any measurement data and data collected in relation to the number of vehicles that where using North Drive. Any reports or studies that were commissioned from either internal departments or external 3rd party companies.
7. Can you confirm over what period this data was collected?
8. Can you provide any minutes of meetings that where held in relation to the decision to block off North Drive?
9. How much did it cost to undertake the works to block off North Drive including changes to signage?
