Blocked rights of way issues- Rose Lane area

The request was successful.

Dear Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council,

I am writing to make an open government request for all the information to which I am entitled under the Freedom of Information Act and the Environmental Information Regulations.
In order to assist you with this request, I am outlining my query as specifically as possible. If however this request is too wide or too unclear, I would be grateful if you could contact me as I understand that under the act, you are required to advise and assist requesters.
I am requesting what enforcement action you have taken to date in respect of the blockage of two rights of way in this area. This was reported to your council back in 2001, yet still remains blocked after all this time!
Please provide the costs associated to the council with the clearance of the unstable mound of foundry sand leaching into the Rose Lane tunnel area and into Sheepwash local nature reserve which blocked drains and caused flooding in this area. This work has been undertaken on at least two occasions in the last ten years. Please include the costs of laying a new surface/drain through the tunnel to alleviate the dire mud bath that this sand had created. This was done in the last two years I believe.

I understand that under the act, I should be entitled to a response
within 20 working days. I would be grateful if you could confirm that you have received
this request. I look forward to hearing from you in the near future via the what do they know website address.
Yours faithfully,
Mr Carroll
