Dear Mr Scott,

 

I am responding to your Freedom of Information request regarding
residential care home block contracts.

 

The response is as follows:-

 

1. Do you have any block contracts for Residential Care homes &/Or Respite
Care? If yes, please advise how many Residential Care homes you have.

RBK (Royal Borough of Kingston) has block contracts for permanent
placements but none for respite placements.

2. How many beds are under Block Contracts?

The number of block contracts is not fixed.

3. How much are these contracts worth?

The value of block contracts is again not fixed as they are decreasing
month by month and all block contract will end from March 2014.

4. Do you use an IT system to maximise the effectiveness of these
contracts? If the answer is yes, please provide details of who you have
the contract with.

No specific IT system has been contracted to support the purchase of these
beds.

5. When are these contracts in place till?

March 2014.

6. Who is the Head Of Commissioning dealing with these contracts?

Jane Bearman, Service Manager.
