Blackwall Tunnel - Olympics

chris taylor made this Freedom of Information request to Greenwich Borough Council

The request was partially successful.

Dear Greenwich Borough Council,

The following is from one of your own documents - "There are particular problems in the Thames Gateway area with its limited river crossing points. A problem on any of these crossings has a severe effect on traffic flows and journey reliability, not only for those crossing the river, but also east/west flows."

It is bad enough now trying to get through the Blackwall Tunnel. What measures will be put in place to attempt to avoid gridlock during the Olympics?

Yours faithfully,

chris taylor
