Dear Home Office,

I am sure your team understands the concept of blackballing, however for clarification: this refers to a "secret" vote, or agreement to prevent somebody meeting the requirements, or obtaining information ETC requested.

IE: Reject (someone), typically by means of a secret ballot: "her husband was blackballed".

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blackballing

It is clear that specific FOI requests are being blackballed by members of staff in the home office.

This may include both subjects and persons making the requests.

I request information you hold relating to the failure to respond to certain FOI requests, be it on a subject (IE: Your twitter campaign, or the advertisement campaigns) or on persons.

I am aware that a large number of people have been classed as vexatious by the home office. I am aware that further individuals are having their personal information shared around your offices with no reason to share this information.

Please provide me with the information you hold relating to this.

Please provide me with the FULL guidance, instructions, or communications that you have been provided in relation to the twitter and go home advertisement campaigns and any instructions that may be contained within.

Yours faithfully,

Wayne Pearsall

Dear Home Office,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Home Office's handling of my FOI request 'Blackballing Requests....'.

Didn't see a vexatious response happening to this did I...

I understand that I am one of your blackballed individuals.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/b...

Not only am I asking for an internal review but raising an official complaint in regards to the manner your department are treating my requests and responding inappropriately.

Yours faithfully,

Wayne Pearsall

But...but... they said: "I assure you that the Home Office does not ‘blackball’ FOI requests or requesters, for which we would have no legal basis."

Can we trust them ;-) ?

Thats w hy im concerned. Why withhold on section 14 if they wont hold the information. Hell. Section 12 could of been a more pplausible exemption.
