Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,

Now it is impossible to purchase a new replacement for my 20 year old Black & white TV (none are made now), will I be in breach of the terms of my £55 Black & white TV licence, if I use a 32" colour TV with the colour permanently turned down?
It will be exactly the same end product use, as my old legal B&W TV

Also, assuming this same 32" colour TV is ONLY used for radio reception, (EG to listen to Heart) would it need a TV licence at all?

Yours faithfully,

J. Jones
