Dear British Broadcasting Corporation,
What specialised ks1 literacy and numeracy services does bbc bitesize offer for the increasing numbers of SEN children in the U.K., especially autistic and dyslexic children and visual learners? Are there accessibility checks which verify that these are accessible to children who struggle with basic literacy and numeracy? Are there any future plans to enhance provision?
Is there already specialist provision? My children’s senco has advised me to consider purchasing nessy which retails at £100.
Does the bbc offer any bitesize services which complement or resemble those provided by Nessy?
