Bilton /Barlavington

Waiting for an internal review by Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea of their handling of this request.

Dear Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea,

I am interested in a copy of the Bilton Report I think into Barlavington House Childrens Home in the late 1990's. Please can you send me a digital searchable pdf.

Yours faithfully,

Dear Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea's handling of my FOI request 'Bilton /Barlavington'.

Thankyou for your reply.
However your link only takes me to an Executive Summary. My information is the Report is over 150 pages long.
Also I asked for a digital searchable pdf. I believe this is reasonable request for form and format under Section 11 of the FOI act. I requested a copy that is searchable and that is a reasonable request even for executive summary copy that you sent, never mind the whole report.
A report that is not searchable is not fit for purpose in the digital age.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/b...

Yours faithfully,

Ann McNeil

Dear Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea,

Thankyou for your reply and provision now of the report in two attachments.
Naturally it would have been better in one part and there appears to be no good technical reason why it cannot be put in one part. Please could you advise why this was in 2 parts.
Secondly I asked for an internal review and whilst you have provided a reply to the original FOI requests now which loosely fits what was asked but could naturally have been put in 1 pdf, there has been no reply which meets the FOI act for an Internal Review. Please could I receive a proper FOI review explanation of the FOI reply.

Yours faithfully,

Ann McNeil

Dear Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea,

Please could you supply the information i asked for in one searchable report. Otherwise please carry out an internal review as previously requested

Please could you provide the executive summary as searchable
Please could you detail if the executive summary and the rest were all in one document originally or two documents and give a scan of the outside of the document/s

Yours faithfully,

Ann McNeil

Dear Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea,

A reply is long overdue to the internal review

Dear Ms McNeil

Internal Review Request

Having reviewed this matter it appears that the Executive Summary was
supplied to you in error when in fact the complete report should have been
sent to you in response to your request. On receipt of your request for an
internal review this error was noted and the complete report was sent to
you. Please accept our apologies for this error.

The report is very large and it was not possible to send it to you as one
document owing to the file size. Therefor the file was provided to you as
two searchable documents.

A searchable Executive Summary is now attached to this request.

I apologies for the delay in responding to you in this matter and many
thanks for your continued patience.

Yours sincerely
